New Litter! Kurt and Ossa Puppies!
We have built the AWDC on individualizing our training plans to get the most out of our canine partners. We're able to do this by having two exceptionally experienced trainers who are directly involved with training your canine partner.
We specialize in Bite-work, tracking, and detection training. These are essential skills for both working canine teams and sport competition teams (who compete in Schutzhund, Nosework, etc.)
We have been heavily involved in all stages of police canine training and are especially focused on making sure your individualized efforts are maintained. From green puppy to retirement, we can be your resource to make sure your partner is at their best.

We train dual purpose and single purpose detection K9s. The AWDC specializes in carefully selected and raised green dogs. We can, upon request, evaluate and imprint a provided green dog as well.
We offer tracking, odor imprinting, apprehension, nosework, and socialization.
The AWDC has an established past performance. We have sold two dual purpose K9s to the Eaton, Indiana police department. We have also donated a single purpose K9 to a nearby department to help jumpstart their program.
We have taken client's green dogs and trained them to pass single purpose certification in their desired odor.
Specializing in dogs that require a personalized touch. Alex Blair and Caitlin Hernandez, have over 30 years of K9 experience.

Caitlin has been training working dogs for 12 years and has worked with law enforcement and extensively with private security.
Private client's green dog, Jazzy was brought to us to be imprinted for private sector explosives detection.
Bane was a green dog that required a bit more personalized training to successfully certify. He is now a proud member of the Eaton Police Department in Indiana
